October 5, 2023 Release

Here's a summary of our upcoming October 5, 2023 release. This release includes features developed during Quick WINSday, an event held by our engineers to complete as many quality-of-life improvements in one day as possible.

Feature: Record date of birth for applicants and co-applicants

Description: You can now record a date of birth for applicant and co-applicants. Input fields display on the Intake Caregiver and Edit Application. This information is also displayed on the Applicant Data page. Date of birth can auto-populate to applicant and agency forms.

Feature: Easier to understand background check information on the Caregiver Applications dashboard

Description: In the background checks column of the Caregiver Applications dashboard, we replaced the display of "0/?" with clearer messaging that describes the necessary action to calculate a total number of required background checks.

Feature: Reference data in Application History

Description: In the Application History, actions taken to add, update, or remove a reference will now display.

Feature: Add "County" to Intake Caregiver

Description: On the Intake Caregiver page, you may now specify the county of residence for a family. Previously, this was geocoded automatically or manually selected on the Edit Application page.

Feature: See which filters you have applied to the Caregiver Applications dashboard

Description: Now, when you apply select filters to the Caregiver Applications dashboard, we will indicate the criteria you have chosen to filter by.

Feature: Redirect SSO login link

Description: Binti previously utilized a separate login page for SSO login which is no longer active. We have redirected the old link to our current login page to reduce confusion.

Feature: Adjustment to location of "Intake Child or Youth" in Children & Youth menu

Description: For consistency across the navigation bar, the "Intake Child or Youth" menu option is now located at the bottom of the Children & Youth menu.

Feature: Update link in banner when Chrome is outdated

Description: We have updated the link in our outdated browser banner to match our correct Help Center URL (help.binti.com).

Feature: Add sorting by status date changed for GET Applications endpoint

Description: Agencies now have additional sorting parameters when using GET with the Applications endpoint. See release notes for detail.
