Nov 21 Binti Release: Auto-populate Agency Forms, Bulk Relative Notification Letters, and more
Here is a summary of our Nov 21, 2024 release. Our full release notes offer additional detail including feature availability. Please contact your Customer Success Managers with any questions.
New Features
Licensing
Data from previously completed Agency Forms can now automatically populate into new forms, streamlining repetitive tasks. For example, when completing a home study during a renewal cycle, information from the previous home study can be automatically transferred to the new form. Agency workers can review and update the pre-filled data as needed before submission to ensure accuracy. Contact your Customer Success Manager to enable this feature. Refer to full release notes for additional information.
Family Finding & Engagement
We are excited to launch Bulk Relative Notification Letters! This feature streamlines the process of generating ready-to-print notification letters for relatives identified during Family Finding searches. With built-in merge fields, you can customize letters using data already saved in Binti, generate multiple letters at once, and automatically document outreach in contact logs—all with just a few clicks. This enhancement saves time, reduces manual work, and helps ensure more children stay connected with their families.
Improvements
Licensing
The “Agency” column in the Case Loads Report is now included in the CSV download. This addition provides greater clarity for agencies with parent/partner relationships, allowing them to better analyze case loads across multiple agencies.
Placements/Caregiver Management
A new "Search Completed Date" column and filter have been added to the Placement Searches Dashboard. This enhancement allows agencies to easily sort placement searches by their completion date directly within Binti, eliminating the need to download a CSV file to access this information and making data analysis more convenient.
Family Finding & Engagement
Relationship description options now extend up to five degrees of separation when documenting connections. Previously limited to two degrees, the updated options now include relationships such as great-grandparents, first cousins once removed, and second cousins, providing greater flexibility and accuracy in capturing family connections. Refer to full release notes for a comprehensive list of new relationship types.
Two new user types have been added to Family Finding & Engagement. These new roles will give your team the precise access levels they need to perform their work, including the ability to run Potential Kin Online Searches. Refer to full release notes for additional detail.
The sidebar on connection profiles, accessed via the Relationships Dashboard, is now collapsible, enhancing usability and improving compatibility on mobile devices.
