Jul 11 Binti Release: Supervisor Signature Email Notifications and more

Improvements

Licensing

• Supervisors can now receive email notifications when a form is ready for their signature, streamlining the licensing process by ensuring prompt notification of outstanding signature requests. See full release notes for additional detail.

• Default family types are now automatically assigned to a new application if the application template is configured with a default family type. This feature applies to applications created through both the Binti website and the API, ensuring data integrity. If you are unsure if you have default family types configured, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

• The Congregate Care/Agency Licensing dashboard now defaults to the “In Renewal Process” tab upon loading. This enhancement streamlines the workflow in Binti, as most tasks involve existing providers rather than new ones. This change only applies to select agencies utilizing the Congregate Care Licensing dashboard.

Family Finding

• The Reports menu is now visible for agencies using only the Family Finding module. Our first report, “Potential Online Kin Search Audit Trail,” is now available, with additional reports to be released in the coming months. This update ensures agencies have access to the necessary menu to view these reports.

API

• GET agency_workers and GET agency_workers/{id} now include email. This assists agencies in mapping agency worker records between Binti and other systems of record.

• POST /applications no longer requires a full address to intake an application. This allows agencies to intake any amount of address information and matches the functionality of the Binti website.

• POST and PUT /applications endpoint now supports family_type. This allows agencies to set family types when completing an intake.

• POST /family_finding_searches is now available. This assists agencies in mapping Family Finding search records between Binti and other systems of record.
