Feb 8 Binti Release: Improved tracking of when Children in the Home turn 18 and other exciting updates
Here is a summary of our upcoming February 8, 2024 release. Our full release notes offer additional detail including feature availability. Please contact your Customer Success Managers with any questions.
Improvements
Licensing: Email notification to improve tracking of when a child in the home turns 18.
Agencies can now more efficiently track of when a child in the home (not placed by an agency) turns 18 years old. Binti will send an email notification to prompt an agency worker to manually change the child to an Other Adult, allowing them to manage corresponding documentation/requirements for that adult.
Licensing: New notice to protect against potential data loss when deleting a child on Edit Children in Home.
Agency workers are now warned with a notice when attempting to delete a Child in the Home, protecting from accidentally removing a child and their associated requirements. This notice prompts them to download that child’s historic documentation before removing them.
Licensing: Training due dates adjust automatically when modifying the due date of a renewal.
When modifying the renewal due date of an application, Binti now automatically adjusts training due dates to align with the updated renewal cycle. This ensures clean data and streamlines the process for users by eliminating the need to contact our support team for assistance.
Licensing: Display agency-provided Client ID (instead of Binti ID) on Pre-approval Placements page for increased clarity.
When entering a child on the Pre-approval Placements page, the Client ID will now be displayed in the drop-down selection menu instead of Binti-generated IDs, enhancing clarity and reducing duplicate entries of the same child.
Case Management: New page loading indicator on Child Requirements page.
A blue heart loading indicator now appears on the Child Requirements page while loading large data sets, providing agency workers with a visual cue that the page is loading.
Platform: Binti account emails now provide clearer login instructions for users with Single Sign-On (SSO).
Binti account emails no longer display password reset options if the account uses SSO, as they are not applicable and cause confusion. Instead, users are given instructions to log in with SSO or create an account through the SSO provider per agency settings.
Platform: Password reset button no longer displays on Applicant Data page for caregivers using Single Sign-On (SSO).
When a caregiver uses SSO to login, the password reset button on the Applicant Data page is now disabled as it is not applicable and may cause confusion. “Email login is not enabled” appears in place of the button. The “Send Reminder Email” button can be used to send login instructions to users.
Fixes
Case Management: [FIX] "PDF of All Documents" on the Child Requirements page now includes all documents as expected.
Previously, when a document on the Child Requirements page was uploaded in a row where the Fill/Edit button was enabled, it was excluded from the PDF of All Documents. This issue has been resolved, and all documents are included in the PDF of All Documents as expected.
Case Management: [FIX] Annual child requirements now populate as expected.
Previously, annual child requirements did not populate in some instances. This has been fixed and annual requirements now populate as expected.
