Feb 15 Binti Release: Cross-module data enhancements and more
Here is a summary of our upcoming February 15, 2024 release. Our full release notes offer additional detail including feature availability. Please contact your Customer Success Managers with any questions.
Licensing: Automated email when a child in home turns 18 now provides more detailed instructions.
Last week, we introduced an automated email to assigned approval workers when a child in the home turns 18. We have updated the text in that email to provide more detailed guidance on the steps necessary to delete a child in home and add them as an Other Adult.
Licensing: All historical forms for agencies with Caregiver Documents 2.0 now utilize our new naming convention for clarity.
On February 1, we introduced a new naming convention for forms when Caregiver Documents 2.0 is enabled. This week, we are applying this new format to all historical forms.
The new naming convention is: [Form Name] [YYYY-MM-DD] [Applicant Name].pdf. For example: "Background Check 2024-01-30 John Doe.pdf".
Licensing: When enabling Caregiver Documents 2.0, the application history will now display the date which a record was previously marked “Not Applicable”, improving data accuracy.
Previously, when setting up Caregiver Documents 2.0 for an agency, Application History displayed that records previously marked as "Not Applicable" were waived on the day of enabling Caregiver Documents 2.0. Now, the Application History will accurately display the date when a record was marked as "Not Applicable."
Placements: A new "Postsecondary Education" grade level option improves data collection for youth 18 and older.
“Postsecondary Education” has been added to the grade list on the Intake Child or Youth and Edit Child pages. This helps agencies better track youth who are in colleges or vocational programs.
Case Management: A search box has been added to the Requirements page to more easily find requirements.
Based on feedback, we separated the "Search Requirement Titles" box from the filter menu, making it easier to search requirements.
Case Management: When using filters on the Requirements page, a new visual indicator will appear making it clear that a filter has been applied.
A new numeric indicator on the Filter menu indicates how many filters are currently in use. This helps agency workers to understand how data is being presented. Note that this feature is not available in the Licensing module.
Platform: "Forgot your password?" email disabled for users that login with Single Sign-On (SSO) to reduce confusion.
If a user that logs in with SSO attempts to use the "Forgot your password?" option, an email will no longer be generated since it is inapplicable. Additionally, a new informational notice explains that SSO users will not receive an email.
Fixes
Licensing: [FIX] Documents page now loads correctly after transferring a template with Caregiver Documents 2.0 enabled.
In certain cases, transferring an application using Caregiver Documents 2.0 to a new template could prevent the Documents page from loading. This has been fixed and the Documents page will load as expected after transferring an application.
Case Management: [FIX] Supervisors now have full edit access to children/youth assigned to their supervisees.
Previously, supervisors did not have the same level of access to child files as their supervisees in Case Management. Now, supervisors have full edit access to children/youth on their supervisees caseload.
