Aug 15 Binti Release: Improved Navigation from Licensing Search and more
Here is a summary of our August 15, 2024 release. Our full release notes offer additional detail including feature availability. Please contact your Customer Success Managers with any questions.
Improvements
Licensing
There is now a new Actions menu in licensing search results for searches conducted via the navigation bar. Clicking Actions provides quick access to Applicant Data, Edit Application, and Case Notes pages. This improvement brings the most-used actions from the Application dashboard directly into the search experience, saving caseworker time in navigating Binti.
The welcome email for Binti users (to create a new account) now includes more detailed instructions on activating an account and logging in later. This enhancement ensures users clearly understand how to access Binti in the future after setting up their account.
Platform
We are improving Binti support with Blue, our new AI-powered assistant, available 24/7 to answer frequently asked questions. Blue offers quick tutorials for those who need help outside of support hours or do not have time for a full conversation. Our new chat interface also provides convenient access to your chat history for reference or compliance needs. It is still just as easy to talk to a human when you need it.
Fixes
Licensing
[FIX] When completing the Exemptions process, only active Background Check types will appear in the Conviction Source dropdown menu. Previously, archived background checks were incorrectly listed in the dropdown menu.
[FIX] For California agencies, the RFA02 form will now successfully load without issue. Previously, some agency workers encountered errors when attempting to load the form.
Placements
[FIX] When clicking on a hyperlinked sibling name from the Children & Youth dashboard, you are redirected to the Child Data page for that child. Previously, the hyperlink did not function as expected.
