Aug 1 Binti Release: Auto-Populate Forms with Prior Data and more
Here is a summary of our August 1, 2024 release. Our full release notes offer additional detail including feature availability. Please contact your Customer Success Managers with any questions.
Improvements
Licensing
Data from previous Agency Forms can now auto-populate to new Agency Forms. For instance, when an agency needs to complete a new home study each renewal cycle, the data from their previous application can automatically fill in the new form. Users need to review the information prior to submission to ensure accuracy.
Agencies may create custom key dates, which track the date of licensing process milestones unique to your agency. For example, you may configure Binti to track the date that an orientation is completed. There is no limit to the number of custom key dates tracked. One of the custom milestones may display as a column on the Caregiver Applications dashboard. Contact your Customer Success Manager to enable this feature.
The convictions dropdown in the Exemptions process now displays all affiliated background checks with your agency as source options. Previously, this was a free-text field and this change ensures data consistency for agencies.
The CSV download for the Background Check Exemptions report now includes new columns for recommendations, interviews, record requests, and arrest records when applicable. This update provides easier access to data for agencies to create custom reports outside of Binti.
Family Finding & Engagement
You can now use the back button in your browser to return to previously viewed table tabs or sections in the Family Finding module. Previously, clicking the back button would take you away from the entire page instead of allowing you to return to a specific tab or section.
Fixes
Licensing
[FIX] When adding a new Co-applicant after converting an existing Co-applicant to an Other Adult, the previous Co-applicant’s data will no longer auto-populate. Previously, when a new co-applicant was added, the information from the previous co-applicant populated all forms. Note: Only our customer support team is able to convert a Co-applicant to an Other Adult at this time.
[FIX] Incorrect override records generated during the transfer of applications to Caregiver Documents 2.0 have been removed. Previously, transferring an application with uploaded supporting documents incorrectly recorded a “waive” in the system. This issue has been resolved, and historical errors will be corrected.
Placements
[FIX] An error that prevented access to the Child Data page has been resolved. Users who experienced this issue can now access the Child Data page without any problems.
